Although the founders were sisters Kimberly and Linda, their father Richard Renk Sr. ran the company. Interestingly, before founding Sequin, Kimberly had worked for the famous jewelry company Swank.
The fashion jewelry produced by Sequin jewelers was very successful, and the company expanded its business and product range by registering new trademarks. In addition, branches of the company appeared in other cities, including New York, New York, and Providence, Rhode Island.
