Signed Skalli Paris vintage costume jewelry
Originally from Marseille, the artist Jean-Marc Skalli always wanted to be a jewelry designer and he made his dream come true in 1998 in Paris. Inspired by the 1960-70s he made brooches, necklaces, earrings and bracelets with the use of colored enamel, resin cabochons, and signed them “Skalli Paris”. His geometric style jewelry was an immediate success. As a result, Jean-Marc Skalli decided to expand production, distributing his products both in Parisian department stores and around the world.
In 2016, Jean-Marc Skalli decided to take a creative break. He left Paris for his native Marseille, where he created new collections with refined designs, a new style and more precious metals and stones. According to the designer himself, who has traveled a lot around the world, he draws his inspiration from different cultures, mixing them with his Mediterranean identity.
Today, the Skalli brand takes part in professional jewelry exhibitions during traditional Paris Fashion Weeks.
